WHAT IS INNOVATING MALAYSIA CONFERENCE 2015?
The pace of innovation is accelerating all the time. Innovation is no longer just about new technology. Indeed, innovations in the way companies do business can have a bigger impact on their success than new technology alone. Innovation has become the life-blood of any organisation and provides organisations with the competitive edge to accelerate growth and to drive productivity and profitability through improvements in products and services, business processes, and stakeholder impact amongst others.
Realising the importance of innovation in Malaysia’s push towards becoming an advanced, high-income nation by 2020, the government passed the AIM Act 2010 which created a statutory body, Agensi Inovasi Malaysia (AIM) to spearhead the National Innovation Strategy (Innovating Malaysia). AIM is administered by a 17-member Governance Council chaired by the Prime Minister.
Innovating Malaysia Conference 2015 is an exciting platform to help you move your technology forward. We bring together the brightest minds in industry, academia and research to discuss and share their insights and experiences on IP commercialisation whilst opening doors to new business opportunities through our Mega InnoSeed roadshow, showcasing Malaysian innovations. Themed ‘Transforming Ideas into Reality’, IMC2015 is a two days conference that will create significant opportunities to meet prominent local and international experts to share their views and experiences on the importance of empowering commercialisation for creating wealth and boosting societal impact.
